Emerald Crab (Mithraculus Sculptus)

Emerald Mithrax Crab -  Mithraculus Sculptus, a mainstay in the reefing hobby!

Well known for it's tendencies to eat bubble algae, but generally is an advantageous opportunist and will also help clean up any uneaten foods, as well as constantly picking the surfaces of rock for various algae and macro-fauna.

If food runs scarce they can turn to nipping corals, snails and other inverts they can catch. Keep an eye on them and supplementary feed nori or other foods if possible, should food run scarce.
