The Harlequin Swimming Crab - Lissocarcinus Laevis, is a crustacean that is solemn seen in the hobby to the point there's not much information on them.
Although they're called "Swimming" Crabs they're rarely been documented actually swimming, mostly opting to spend most of their time of the sea floor and reefs of the Indo-Pacific.
A stunning species of crab, with a white bodied shell, with pinkish brown banding on the claws and a blotch appearance across the carapace with tinges of yellowish hues in the patterns.
In they wild they seem to have a symbiotic relationship with Cerianthids (Tube Nems) and Slipper Corals (Herpolitha), it is unknown what the benefits of this relationship is and it's unknown what the crab dietary habits are.
I have been successful in pairing one with a Bubble Tip Anemone and have been taking meaty foods such as mussels, clams and whole fish.
May pose a threat to other inverts and small fish.
