The unit has two control knobs on the lid, you can control the angle of rotation up to 180 degrees and the speed from near stop to quick, it’s small and compact and runs at 15dba (from 1 meter await tested).
It is recommended that the maximum sized wave maker to attach to this model is upto 8000 lph to a depth of 225 mm from the splash guard to the wave maker. A wave maker up to 16000 lph can be fitted but the drive rod can be no longer than 120 MM from the splash guard and to use on continuous flow and NOT ANY PULSE (pulse modes would exert to much strain on the motor and drive rod).
The measurements given are based on the unit being mounted on the aquarium rim.
It has the telescopic extendable drive rod giving you a great range of placement in the tank for wave makers.
The unit comes with a 5 volt power supply.
The unit omits a 21dba click on every sweep this is a working micro switch for location and a necessary working part of the unit, OceanSeaProducts do not issue refunds for unacceptable noise on their products, as 21dba is classified as "quiet room/whisper" on the dba scale.
