Toxic Green Pineapple Tree
Toxic Green Pineapple Tree
The Toxic Green Pineapple Tree is a soft coral from the Sinularia family group of soft corals and is very closely related to the Kenya Tree.
What differs the two besides obviously is the vast and vibrant colour differences, but the Pineapple Tree soft coral does not drop branches to reproduce and spread. But instead, a polyp will swell up looking very similar to a pineapple, when ready it will detach and float away to deflat and sink to grow in the new place else where.
The Toxic Green Pineapple Tree is a very forgiving and tolerable coral of a wide range of tank conditions and parameters, whilst it does prefer stability in levels of Alkalinity, Calcium and Magnesium along with various other trace elements found within the oceans. However is able to handle a wide variety of light conditions and water parameters, which makes them great for beginners.
Mushrooms do not require a direct feeding from coral foods, however they will happily accept most foods if offered.
